Research & Development Associate

We are looking for a qualified Designer with work experience in designing, who has a creative mind, has a keen eye for detail, is a result oriented achiever and has the ability to develop products of different types for varying agegroups.

Job Profile

You will be required to create ideas based on the BUDDYZ range of exisiting categories and the Licensed Merchandise categories. The products that you create will broadly fit the categories:

• Activity
• Do-it-yourself Kits
• Educational
• Licensed Merchandise

The position will require you to:

• Make rough plans / sketches
• Make final sketches and create Protypes with the help of our R&D assistants
• Make drawings in soft copy using CAD and translate to CAM for mould making
• Give design ideas for packaging as well
• Decide on the complete components of a product including material used. Hence your job will be to do a turn-key project for each product with the help of our R&D assistants

You must be highly motivated, think on your feet, have the ability to translate ideas into products on a turn-key basis, understand market trends/fads, source components whenever necessary, be open to change and have an extremely creative mind.

Fluency in business level English is important but your best qualification will be your “ability to give life to a product”.

Additional Information

Education: Preferably a student from NID or any other comparable institution
